Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12-month contract (with strong potential for extension).

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week in office, with occasional additional on-site days as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and process analysis to understand business needs, pain points, and objectives.
  • Perform current-state analysis to identify process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and deliver measurable value.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating solutions against requirements and documenting business validation test cases.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams, technology partners, and project managers to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare high-quality BRDs, process flows, use cases, and user stories in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance, risk, and regulatory requirements across all deliverables.
Must-Have Skills
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience within financial services or insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Familiarity with project governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent professional certification.
