The role is hybrid with 2 days in Downtown Toronto Office
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions to ensure technology solutions align with business strategies.
- Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for developers and technical teams.
- Create and manage user stories, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and other project documentation.
- Conduct cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to guide system implementation decisions.
- Provide informed insights into business processes to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and the IT organization to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs.
- Act as a project team member on multiple initiatives, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives.
- Support and refine complex business processes, driving efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Product Owner.
- Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Skilled in creating user stories and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Familiarity with project lifecycles and workflows.
- Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Teams.
- Knowledge of technology processes, including experience with developers and external vendors.
- Experience in the financial services sector is nice to have
- Background in data analysis and management.
