Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst in Liquidity and funding management team for an initial 8-month contract with a high possibility of extension. This role is 2-3 days a week in the office in Toronto. 
  • Collaborate with the reporting and IT teams to clarify, create, and update business requirements for identified defects. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing to ensure changes are implemented and supported in line with requirements.
  • Review and understand data structures and mappings along the liquidity risk data flow. Write and conduct UAT test cases for data provisioning, LCR migration, and report generation from the liquidity risk cashflow engine.
  • Create, update, and maintain business requirement documents for various products, including product mapping logic and tables from source systems to liquidity risk data provisioning, enrichment layers, and cashflow generation modules.
  • Write UAT test cases, conduct UAT for data and report generation, and ensure the functional specifications align with business requirements to support monthly defects releases and the Liquidity Risk Reporting project.
  • Build rapport and collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Reporting Analysts, and IT partners to ensure seamless communication and translation of user requests into technical specifications.
  • Work with IT and reporting teams to ensure that functional specifications align with business requirements and support the development and maintenance of business requirements documentation for the liquidity risk cashflow engine.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience working with banking products and liquidity risk reporting required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Capital Markets
  • 5+ years of experience with VBA, SQL, Microsoft Excel advanced functions, MS Office suite of products.
  • 3+ years of experience with conducting UAT on data-intensive reporting implementations involving technology changes.
  • 3+ years of experience creating, updating, and maintaining business requirement documents.
Nice to have skills:
  • Experience with large data programming preferred (Python and Alteryx)
  • Exposure to liquidity cashflow generator would be an asset.
