Business Analyst

Our Client, a large Financial Institution, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Data and AI Risk team for a 1 year contract. This position is hybrid with 2 days being in office on Mondays and Thursdays.

The key responsibilities include;

• Assist frontline teams in designing effective data controls and risk reduction plans
• Check risks, document findings, and analyze improvement plans
• Report risks to senior management
• Keep stakeholders updated on assessment progress
• Support Data Risk Management Program as required
• Enhance data risk oversight
• Foster a supportive team environment and prioritize shared goals
• Encourage high performance and inclusivity
• Build partnerships with other risk teams and business partners for advice and guidance

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• 8+ years of experience in internal control risk management, compliance, data management, governance or audit
• 3+ years of experience in testing
• 5+ years of experience in data management
• Prior Financial Institution experience is considered an asset
• Strong experience using SharePoint
• Data management certificate is considered an asset
