Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their team for an initial 6-month contract. This role is twice a week in office in Toronto. 
The current project will have the successful candidate leading the project work stream for a technical implementation. This project would oversee the change implementation for the Capital Markets Regulatory program.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business functions to ensure technology solutions align with business strategies and objectives.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business units, documenting detailed findings and specifications for project implementation.
  • Utilize informed knowledge of business functions to identify and address problems, as well as capitalize on improvement opportunities within projects.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports on work stream progress to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Develop presentations to communicate project updates, milestones, and achievements effectively to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Proactively identify and raise risks, issues, and areas of concern related to the project, working towards timely resolution and mitigation strategies.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 5 years experience working in a Capital Markets environment
  • Prior experience with Data/Process mapping
  • Prior experience with Postman, Fenergo, and or Droit
  • Strong familiarity with PowerBI and SharePoint
Nice to have skills:
  • Prior experience working on a Regulatory Implementation project.
