Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst in their capital markets team for an initial 6-month contract. This role is once a week in office in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Working sessions with business, technology, and operations SMEs to understand and document system/process flows.
  • Manage the deliverables to meet target timelines.
  • Manage agile delivery board for tracking deliverables.
  • Assemble PowerPoint slides for executive and peer presentation.
  • Design stimulation exercises for resiliency activities.
  • Identify process assistance gaps and collaborate with SMEs for enhancement options.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, operation managers, and business product owners/managers to come up with solutions.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience as a BA within FI.
  • 3+ years of experience within Capital Markets (strong knowledge of payment product Wires, ACH, EFT or International Money Transfer).
  • Strong operational knowledge on payment processing protocol.
  • Strong Proficiency with MS Visio and PPT.
  • Experience working with Jira/Confluence.
  • BA experience at top 5 Banks in Canada.
  • Experience in development or infrastructure operation areas.
