Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their team for an initial 12 months of contract with possibility to extend/convert. This role is hybrid in office 6 times a month or 2x per week.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Drives a customer-centric culture aimed at strengthening client relationships and maximizing the use of Bank resources, systems, and expertise.
  • Collaborates with Business lines, Digital Journey Managers, Digital Acquisition Specialists, and other Marketers to ensure company achieves its annual and strategic digital sales targets.
  • Partners with Digital analytics for monthly reporting and ad-hoc requests to derive insights that enhance performance management across various business lines and Digital Sales as a whole.
  • Works closely with Product teams and Business Partners, offering expertise on digital sales for ongoing and upcoming initiatives.
  • Identifies opportunities to boost digital sales in both the short and long term, developing frameworks and processes to manage roadmaps and strategic initiatives effectively.
  • Actively maintains efficient operations within their respective areas in line with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring adherence to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk requirements.
  • Promotes a high-performance environment and contributes to fostering inclusivity in the workplace.
 
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree or work experience in digital sales environments or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in Banking, Data Analysis, Reporting, or Business Strategy
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in working with data sets and deriving actionable insights from them.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams, demonstrating strong teamwork, work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Skilled in building relationships and influencing decision-making at senior levels, with a high degree of independence.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Tableau - Considered an asset
