Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst to their team for an initial 4 month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is currently hybrid, 2 days a week in office in Toronto.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Use the Product Centric Model to assist with data ingestion related to the digitalization initiative
  • Assist with the onboarding of new data, as well as data consolidation, data centralization, and data quality framework for existing processes
  • Identify opportunities and work with Technology to reduce operational cost and embrace modern technology
  • Ensure the requirements and specifications are complete and ready for the Agile development work, validating the result, and performing testing
  • Assist with the testing (SIT and UAT)

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in SQL, Python, and Excel
  • Financial industry experience, familiar with financial products and capital markets source product systems
  • Post secondary education in either computer science, engineering, or data science
  • CFA Level 1 or 2 and/or FRM considered and asset
