Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a Procurement Transformation Program.
Location: Toronto - Hybrid, 2 days onsite
Contract: 6 months
Start Date: October 14, 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM
Extension: Likely
Interview: 2 rounds - Virtual

Key Responsibilities:
o Gather and document business requirements
o Lead stakeholder discussions and working sessions
o Develop user stories and process documentation
o Participate in Agile ceremonies
o Support QA and UAT activities
o Work with business, technology, and procurement stakeholders
o Support multiple projects and process improvement initiatives
o Manage stakeholder communication and challenging discussions

Must-Have:
o 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience
o Banking or insurance industry experience
o Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
o Experience with Jira & Confluence
o Agile & Waterfall methodology experience
o User stories and Agile ceremonies experience
o QA & UAT experience
o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
o Strong MS Office skills

Nice to Have:
o Third-party/vendor management experience
o Procurement or procurement system implementation experience
o Procurement transformation experience
o MBA or advanced degree
o Previous experience with a large financial institution
