Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Administrative Assistant for a contract of 4 to 6 weeks with possibility to extend. The office is located in Downtown Toronto.

The Admin plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to one or more Managers and their direct reports. This position encompasses a variety of tasks including financial and human resources administration, event planning, and professional support services

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of department events.
  • Provide senior-level administrative and operational support within a large, diverse team, including senior executives.
  • Utilize systems and tools to manage information effectively, including customized exception reports and tracking reports.
  • Integrate information from multiple sources to facilitate efficient processes, analysis, and reporting.
  • Contribute input to the planning and implementation of administrative programs.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gather, format, and present data in regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate and monitor budgets, reporting on results versus budgetary targets.

Must Have Skills:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in administrative/professional support roles, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • Specialized knowledge acquired through education and/or business experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
