IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Accounts Receivable Manager responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate recordkeeping/reporting, and efficient payment collections. This role will manage the Accounts Receivable team, maintain strong customer and internal relationships, and optimize cash flow while minimizing risk by maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Manager
 
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, receipts, and payment applications.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers / internal departments to improve AR processes and resolve issues.
  • Prepare monthly reporting deliverables and analyze aging details for management review.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for the accounts receivable function and establish targets for the AR team.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.

Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Manager
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5 + years of accounts receivable and/or collections experience
  • Comfortable working in larger ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc)
  • Experience with general accounting practices
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing a team and strong leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Strong interpersonal skills
