Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a bilingual Accounting Specialist III to fill a 12-month contract located in Montreal. Please note this position is currently a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in office.
As an Accounting Specialist III your duties will include but not be limited to:

Analyzing financial information to ensure compliance with standards, preparing journal entries, preparing financial statements and trial balances, account reconciliation and investment and real estate accounting

Implementing changes to accounting procedures to ensure standards and operational requirements are met

Verifying and preparing monthly client reports, management reports and other financial reports
Qualifications required for the Accounting Specialist III include:

Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting

3+ years’ experience in financial services

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite

Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken
