Accounting Manager

Our client located in the West end of Toronto is looking to hire an Accounting Manager on a full time base.  Reporting to the CFO, you will be hands on manager with a team of 4 reporting to you.     

***Note, this is a hybrid role requiring you to be in office 1 day a week and offers very good work/life balance

As the Accounting Manager, you are responsible for both managing/reviewing the work of your team as well as being a doer with individual contributor duties.  You will oversea transactional accounting [ap, ar and payroll] and be responsible for owning the actuals accounting.  You will lead period end reporting and all audits. In addition, you will help support the FP&A team.   

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• At least 5 years of experience where you've done both hands on and managed transactional accounting 
• Systems savvy
• Having experience within NFP is ideal
