Our client which a Canadian Head Office located in Oakville is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to cover an upcoming maternity leave.  This person leaves for their maternity leave in July however the client is looking to onboard someone ASAP to help maximize the time before they leave.  This person on maternity leave will be gone for at least 12 months.   

***Note, this is a fully remote role with minimal travel to the Oakville office

As the Accounting Manager, you are responsible for both managing/reviewing the work of your team as well as being a doer with individual contributor duties.  You will oversea transactional accounting [ap, ar] and be responsible for owning the actuals accounting.  You will lead period end reporting and all audits.  

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
  • At least 5 years of experience where you've done both hands on and managed transactional accounting 
  • Systems savvy [MS Excel, Dynamics 365 would be ideal]
  • Have come from complex environments i.e. multi entity
