Accounting Consultant

IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Accounting Consultant to support and enhance the organization's revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting processes. This consultant will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, and Operation teams to ensure accurate recognition of revenue and profitability in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606. The role will play a critical part in evaluating project performance, reviewing contract accounting methodologies, strengthening internal controls, and improving financial reporting accuracy.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional with construction, engineering, manufacturing, contracting, or project-based industry experience who possesses a strong understanding of cost-to-cost accounting, work-in-process (WIP) reporting, contract accounting, and revenue recognition requirements.
