Editorial Specialist

Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for an Editorial Specialist for a 6-month contract located in Toronto.  Please note this position is currently a hybrid model. This is an excellent opportunity for a Editorial Specialist with a financial services background

As an Editorial Specialist your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Working on a team of writers that is responsible for writing, editing, and reviewing content for the Investor’s Edge brokerage website, mobile website, print assets, and other brokerage properties.

• Demonstrating extensive experience in a content or marketing writing position within an enterprise-level organization, ideally in the financial services, brokerage or investment industries. 

• Working as an independent contributor, writing, editing, and proofreading content for different properties and projects.

Qualifications required for the Editorial Specialist include:  

• 5+ Years' experience as an editorial specialist, technical or UX writer

• Excellent writer with content development experience (samples of writing required)

• In-depth knowledge of style guides and applying style guides to written work

• Financial services experience, preferably with brokerage or investment knowledge.

• Experience writing for digital platforms and familiarity with web accessibility guidelines

• Strong experience with Microsoft Suite
