Responsibilities of the Treasurer
- Manage all aspects of cash flow, in-house investment portfolios and long-term and short-term investment strategies.
- Implement and manage Capital Improvement Funding/Financing plans and sources.
- Lead and evolve capital fiscal process improvements and automation efficiencies around planning, development, analysis and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Oversee financial status and open contracts of all capital improvement projects.
- Manage the revenue funds, including monitoring investment activities to ensure adherence to indentures and investment policies.
- Mitigate risk by monitoring and maintaining regulatory legal compliance related to debt issues to fund Capital Projects.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to scope, establish, and develop a metrics program with a focus on driving efficiencies in capex.
- Electronically reconcile monthly cash/investment accounts.
Qualifications of the Treasurer
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- 10+ years related experience in finance and treasury
- Extensive knowledge of modules affecting cash in the ERP finance system
- Strong quantitative analysis and critical thinking skills
- Financial planning, forecasting and reporting process experience
- Understanding of intercompany transactions relating to cash flow
- Demonstrated ability in building dynamic financial models
