Responsibilities of the Supervisor, Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve any discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Generate financial reports and statements detailing accounts receivable and accounts payable status.
- Review and approve adjustments, refunds, etc., within established guidelines and policies.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for accounts receivable and accounts payable management.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and resolve issues.
Requirements of the Supervisor, Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2+ years' relevant work experience to include prior supervisory experience
- Experience working with ERP Packages (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, Infor, Workday)
- Knowledge of general accounting practices
- Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
