Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Marketing Analyst for a 12-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, with in-office work required every Thursday and the fourth Friday of each month, with occasional additional in-office attendance for special meetings or events.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and delivery of direct marketing campaigns for credit cards, ensuring alignment with the 1-2-year marketing plan and business revenue targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end campaign execution process, working with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and production partners to deliver high-quality client communications.
  • Oversee creative development, ensuring brand compliance, and manage the internal approval process, including legal and compliance reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with internal business partners, becoming a trusted advisor on competitive insights, client engagement strategies, and campaign optimization.
  • Leverage analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and embed results-driven learning into future initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimates and maximizing ROI across channels.
  • Provide regular updates and maintain strong communication with key stakeholders on campaign progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify new and effective approaches for delivering direct marketing communications that drive engagement and retention.
Must-Have Skills
  • 1+ years of experience managing creative and marketing communications processes across direct and interactive channels (marketing project management).
  • 1+ years of financial services experience, ideally with retail banking products; credit card marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience producing client-facing email marketing communications.
  • Experience managing budgets, including cost tracking and estimates.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent related experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • 3+ years of experience working with a marketing or creative agency.
  • Copywriting experience or familiarity.
  • Technical understanding of how client emails are built and executed.
