Manager, FP&A

Our client, a growing company in the Markham area is looking to hire a Manager, FP&A.  This is a new role for the organization and a very critical one as you are acting as a Finance Business Partner for the CFO and other members of the leadership team.  As the Manager FP&A, you will lead and Finance and Accounting for a specific business.  This will be a stand alone role and requires you to work 5 days a week IN OFFICE.  

The main duties and responsibilities include the following; 

• Forecasting and actuals reporting 
• Analyze cost and price performance
• Planning, measuring and reporting on key areas as it relates to performance.  Identify opportunities to improve the profitability via pricing 
• Developing, leading and managing analysis for strategic planning, initiatives, due diligence, acquisitions and projects

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 

• CPA or MBA 
• Very strong MS Excel skills (able to work with 10K lines of data)
• Budgeting/planning and forecasting experience ideally from a industry where they have job/project costing
• Strong communication skills - ability to interact with "C" Suite
