Manager - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Our client located in the Mississauga area who is a leader in the Consumer Packaged Goods space is looking to hire an Accounting Manager - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable on a full time base.  This is a newly created role and would report directly to the Controller.  

As the Accounting Manager - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, you will have a team of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) clerks reporting to you with your primary responsibility being oversight of the day to day operations of the  AP and AR teams. 

To achieve this, the main responsibilities include the following;
 

• Oversight of the payables and collections activities 
• Mentoring and coaching of current team 

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 
 

• At least 5 years experience with a CPG company 
• Strong people management experience
• Hands on experience in both the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
