IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Financial Reporting Leader responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, general accounting, and audits. This position works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities of the Leader, Financial Reporting
  • Perform the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS/US-GAAP.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepares and reviews account reconciliations and various journal entries and analysis for monthly and quarterly accounting close
  • Prepare, review and approve results of monthly close, financial statements, financial reporting packages and management materials
  • Manage external audit preparation and other compliance-related reporting.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Perform technical accounting research and analysis for new accounting pronouncements, new business ventures or in response to inquiry from management.

Qualifications of the Leader, Financial Reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in financial consolidation, financial reporting, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS and GAAP.
  • Experience with ERP systems required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
