Financial Controller

Our client is in transportation space with multiple subsidiaries with it's head office being in Mississauga.  They are seeking a Controller to lead the financial operations and reporting function. In this role, you will manage various financial activities, ensure accurate reporting, and implement effective financial controls. This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced financial professional to drive meaningful contributions to the company's success.

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller include but are not limited to:

• Month end close, budgeting and forecasting
• System implementation and process improvement
• Support senior leadership team with decision making
• Cashflow management, tax compliance and preparation for auditors

Qualifications:

• CPA designation
• Ideally 5 years in a similar role
• Experience with SAP or JDE or similar
• Ideally experience in manufacturing, logistics or transportation
