Our client is looking to add an Administrative Assistant to their team for a 6 month contract with the chance to convert to a full time role.  The Administrative Assistant will support the team by applying their administrative skills and basic accounting knowledge to help ensure smooth department operations. This role emphasizes providing excellent client service, along with strong organization and leadership skills.

***This role is 3-5 days a week in office

The key responsibilities in this role include the following; 
  • Provide administrative support to the team and manage department workflows
  • Oversee client files, returns, and document tracking
  • Set up, maintain, and e-file documents in relevant software
  • Prepare, format, and assemble financial and tax documents for review
  • Draft and edit client correspondence, including engagement letters
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including document intake, mail, and scheduling
  • Support other administrative team members as needed, including reception coverage
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 
  • Diploma or Degree
  • Experience in a professional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work discreetly with client information
  • Reception experience and access to transportation are assets
