IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Accounts Payable Supervisor responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. This role is a hands-on position that will require someone to balance workload and leadership. 

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor
  • Will be responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; providing feedback for appraising performance; providing feedback for rewarding and disciplining employees.
  • Review and manage received not invoiced reports for ERP systems.
  • Ensure invoices are appropriate and approved for payment per company policy and procedure. 
  • Research and correct processing issues as they arise.
  • Assist with implementation of planned and future process change initiatives.
  • Perform 1099 reporting process.
  • Process all invoices, credits, inquiries, payments and resolve payment issues.

Qualifications of the Accounts Payable Supervisor
  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience including managing a team and relevant processes
  • Strong understanding of AP general ledger and inventory transactions
  • Proven leadership with ability to make and be accountable for decisions
  • Able to work as a group leader and individually to achieve both department and company desired results
