Our client, a well-established company in the West end is looking to hire a Financial Consultant for an initial three-month period.  As the Financial Consultant, you will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting.  If you are looking for a workplace where you have opportunity to build on your accounting career, we need to hear from you!

This position is responsible for the monthly reporting of the financial results and preparing the monthly financial package to Senior Leadership. You will assist in the preparation of related journal entries and manage the consolidation entries according to US GAAP and Company policy. You will track the performance of several entities and manage the related schedules to reconcile to the Balance Sheet. In addition, you will be called upon to support Ad-hoc requests within the Accounting Team in a timely manner.

To be considered for this position, our client is looking for someone with the following qualifications;

  • Minimum 3 years accounting/finance experience
  • CPA 
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent Analytical and communications skills

*This is a hybrid role; 3 days in office
