Summary Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
  • Outstanding Excel and data analysis skills required
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • CPA a plus

Initial Scope:
  • This is not a collections position.
  • Focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) management and analysis. 
  • There are 2 direct reports (AR Collections Analysts).
  • The supervisor for this new position will be the Assistant Corporate Controller.

Expanded / Evolving Scope:
  • Assist ongoing implementation and process improvements with new billing system (CDG Modular Billing System (MBS)
  • Assist to tie-out AR aging from new CDG MBS to tie out to NetSuite general ledger.
  • Significant analysis to clean up historical receivable credits, etc.
  • Starting to experience significant increases in our past due accounts from residential internet customers as we continue to substantially scale and grow.
    • Manager will analyze such balances and work closely with the Surf Internet Customer Care team on implementing process changes to reduce and/or eliminate past due receivables.

Candidates located in NW Indiana or within 30-minute drive to Elkhart, Indiana, will receive priority interviews.  West Chicago suburbs also approved location.  Company has a hybrid work environment and believes in-person collaboration and mentoring is important for success in the role.  The target is for the candidate to work 90 days as a consultant and then convert to an employee position if the technical and cultural fit is right.  Direct hire candidates also okay.
