Role Overview: As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing financial and operational data, linking results to performance drivers, and steering positive change within the organization.

Our client offers a hybrid model and is located in the near western suburbs.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day financial and operational reporting support to market leaders and support staff.
  • Assist in creating and publishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are timely and insightful, pinpointing opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed to facilitate decision-making.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies across various areas of the organization.
  • Assist in process implementation and tracking, leading or managing initiatives from a financial perspective.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute comprehensive financial reports, including sales, gross margin, and P&L reports.
  • Scrutinize expenses and revenues against budget, forecast, and analyze variances and fluctuations.
  • Contribute to the annual budget and forecast process.
  • Review and analyze large volumes of data, producing findings that are easily understandable.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships throughout the organization, creating a culture of teamwork.
  • Undertake miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 3 or more years of experience in reporting, consolidation, and financial analysis is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferred skills in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to complete duties with limited direct supervision and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Financial systems experience preferred, with a particular focus on Oracle and Essbase.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in transforming raw data into clear and actionable findings.
