oPerform accounting research and review technical accounting memos related to non-routine transactions
oPartner with Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Unit Finance, and other stakeholders to understand, analyze, and report complex accounting matters
oOversee monthly Development Committee and Asset Management Committee process
oReview quarterly and annual impairment and CECL analyses
oReview certain quarterly and annual disclosures within 10-Q and 10-K filings
oReview disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
oReview materials for Hyatt's Audit Committee of the Board of Directors meetings
oReview new or amended contracts and related accounting impacts
oReview new accounting pronouncements issued quarterly and assist with implementation as needed
oOversee and/or participate in special projects as needed
Requirements:oBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
o8+ years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting
oSEC and Financial Reporting experience
oCertified Public Accountant (CPA)
oFinancial ERP / Reporting system knowledge (Oracle and Hyperion preferred)
