Senior Accountant

85-90K
4-8% bonus 

Our client, a very well known CPG company in the Mississauga area is looking to hire a Senior Accountant on a full time basis.  This company has its products in pretty much every household and due to an internal promotion, they are active to hire the right replacement.  If you are looking for your next opportunity working with a large public company, let us know.

As the Senior Accountant, you will play an instrumental role with the reporting cycle.  This includes month end activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, accruals as well as balance sheet and income statement validations.  You will also be responsible for tax functions and SOX documentation and review.  Other duties include special projects and helping out with other accounting related duties.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

• CPA designated (or very close to obtaining)
• Prior experience working ideally with a CPG or manufacturing company
• SAP experience 
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
