Salary Mid-Point: $80,000

Our client, a global provider of real estate services and investment management, located in downtown Toronto is looking to hire a Property Accountant on a full-time base.  

As the Property Accountant you will report to the Accounting Manager and be primarily responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information with helps the company manage their properties and budgets more effectively.  Through this, you will produce the monthly financials, analyze and reconcile all the balance sheet accounts, review tenant leases and monitor cash flow.  

To be considered for this great full time opportunity, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
  • College Diploma or University Degree.  Enrollment in the CPA program is a nice asset
  • 2+ years of property management accounting experience, ideally with CAMS recovery experience 
  • Systems savvy with MS Excel and accounting systems.  Having prior experience with Yardi is a nice asset
**note, this is a hybrid role - 2 days a week in office
