IFG is actively recruiting an Accountant, Financial Reporting responsible for timely\y and accurate internal and external reporting in accordance with GAAP.  The Account will perform month, quarter and year end closing activities, assist with annual audit, and perform process improvement initiatives. 

Responsibilities of the Accountant, Financial Reporting  
  • Perform month-end, quarter end closing activities.
  • Prepare month-end consolidation journal entries and conduct intercompany balance reviews.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly reports including consolidated financial statements.
  • Compile quarterly disclosure schedules and related financial statement footnotes.
  • Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews by external auditors.
  • Research technical accounting issues to provide recommendations or alternatives and assist in driving implementation of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Requirements of the Accountant, Financial Reporting   
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business related field
  • MBA and/or CPA highly desired
  • Experience performing external audits for a public accounting firm. 
  • Must be flexible and open to the role changing as business needs and priorities change
  • Excellent organization, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with competing priorities
