Senior Financial Analyst         
Responsibilities
  • Senior Analyst responsibilities include forecasting, analyzing and reporting on utility data
  • Supporting the monthly reporting process by performing analysis, cost, rate trends
  • Includes keeping up with changes from vendors and understanding reporting patterns
  • Coordinate conversations across departments by implementing monthly review sessions with Analysts and regional leadership
  • Build and maintain reporting and Analytics for expense accounts leveraging internal reporting platforms
  • Analytics will include Year-over-year and Month-over-month Expense/Rate/Usage trends as well as monitoring key performance indicators
  • Lead the Budget/Forecasting process for expense accounts working with regional teams, outside vendors, and corporate teams
  • This includes designing processes for projecting rates and usage for all categories
  • Work to identify Risks and Opportunities within all expense lines, coordinating discussions with other departments and tracking status
  • Complete various variance analysis, providing meaningful commentary to regional and corporate teams
  • Maintain and enhance various Executive Reporting schedules
  • Present utility results to Executive team on a regular basis
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion for Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Analytic/Business Intelligence platforms
  • Master's degree in related field
