Sr Financial Analyst

Senior Analyst responsibilities include forecasting, analyzing and reporting on energy cost data. Specific responsibilities include:

• Supporting the monthly reporting process by performing analysis on energy usage, cost, rate trends, and stay current with rate changes from vendors
• Coordinate & implement monthly regional review sessions with regional FP&A Analysts and leadership
• Build and maintain reporting and Analytics (Year-over -Year & Month-over-Month) for expense accounts leveraging internal reporting platforms and identify trends & monitoring KPIs
• Lead the Budget/Forecasting process for expense accounts working with regional teams, outside vendors, and corporate teams (including designing processes for projecting rates and usage for all utility categories)
• Identify Risks and Opportunities within expense lines, coordinating discussions with other departments and tracking status
• Maintain and enhance various Executive Reporting schedules
• Present utility results to Executive team on a regular basis

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for Analytics

• Experience with Analytic/Business Intelligence platforms
• Masters degree in related field
• Experience with data warehouses or relational databases
• Past experience working for a REIT
