Our client located in the west end of Toronto is a newly created joint venture between two well established companies [one Canadian listed].  They are looking for a Controller for an initial term of 3 months.  The role is to set up the accounting and administration for the new entity then carry on 'business as usual'.  If you are a hands on experienced CPA looking to add value and build this is a great opportunity for you to consider.

**This role is hybrid with 2-3 days in office per week 

As the Controller, you will work to set up all the accounting and administration including general ledger, ADP, bank accounts, etc.  You will be the only resource in accounting so you will be hands on processing transactions, and just doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
  • CPA with 5+ years hands on experience
  • Proven ability to operate in a hands on manner 
  • Systems savvy and able to get into our client's office 2-3 days per week.
