Our client, a top Financial Institution in Canada, is looking for a Risk Analyst-Business. This role is for an initial 12-month contract but has a high possibility to transition into a full-time role.  This role is operating on a hybrid schedule with the office located downtown Toronto. 

Job Duties May Include;
o Work with the Business Owners and IT Support teams to ensure that all new applications and systems, or major changes for the existing ones are deployed with the required information security controls, as defined in the company's security and risk management standards.
o Prevent security threats and vulnerability risks performing regular vulnerability scans and security risk assessments while adhering to the security standards of the company.
o Apply your knowledge in the planning and creation of enterprise security documents and initiatives.

Skills/Knowledge Required;
o A bachelor's or university degree in technology or a quantitative discipline Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or Statistics is preferred.
o Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Information Technology and Systems, Information Risk Management, Audit, Business Intelligence and Analytics, ideally with some of the time spent in a large, complex organization.
o Technical knowledge of server operating systems Linux, Red Hat, AIX, Solaris, VMWare, Windows and Azure Cloud is also preferred.
