Our client, a Top 5 Financial Institution in Canada is looking for a Business Analyst for an initial 12-month contract, with the intent to convert. The role is hybrid and located in Waterloo.
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the key partners such as the Pillar Lead, Project Managers, and other colleagues across Group Functions Technology the HR Pillars such as Employee Experience, and other team members
  • Work closely with the Business Systems Analysts in Group Functions IT in relation to any in flight initiative or project
  • Create and deliver business requirements, user stories, test scripts, success criteria and technical documentation, in a manner which supports incremental delivery
  • Perform need/impact analysis and estimations of timing for business requirements, user stories creation and testing
  • Perform functional testing to confirm success, identify issues and ensure successful remediation of issues
  • Develop business analysis tools and templates to contribute to the repository of resources to support the COE
Requirements:
  • 4+ years proven track record as a Business System, or Technical Analyst; CBAP designation would be an asset
  • Previous experience working with on SAAS, Waterfall, Agile or hybrid projects
  • Experience of HRIS Systems - particularly Workday
  • Solid written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly skilled in the use of Excel, MSWord, JIRA, and PowerPoint
