Our client, a top insurance company in Canada, is looking for Accounting Associate for a 7-month contract role located in Toronto.  Please note this position is hybrid requires 2 days a week in office.

The job duties/responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

Perform data entry as related to accounts payable and receivable documents, prepare month end invoices and reconcile reports, including month end purchase accrual accounts. Perform Accounts Payable/Receivable duties as required. Will be required to perform other Accounting Office Admin duties as needed.

oWorking on Accounts Receivable, applying tenant payments to ledger.
oWork with property managers
oApply charges where necessary
oProcess additional journal entries.
oPerforming tenant account reconciliations
oProcessing write-offs

oCandidate will have a university degree or college diploma
oStrong computer skills - Yardi Voyager, Excel, MS Office
oProperty management experience would be ideal.
oSomeone who has worked with property managers would be beneficial.
