The opportunity

  • Develop and adopt sales strategies to leverage all available resources from internal lead generation, referrals, user groups, networking events, job postings, internal database, and social media platforms to provide advisory and recruitment teams with a consistent source of contract and project resourcing needs.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities with an emphasis on Statement of Work or Staff Augmentation needs/jobs for accounting and finance talent at all levels
  • Manage relationships across accounts you have brought in and work with hiring managers to identify upcoming projects and job requirements
  • Serve as an advisor on the solution-based services that IFG offers to clients by exhibiting strong listening skills and matching the client's needs to a contract, advisory or direct hire resource
  • Attend applicable Accounting and Finance industry networking events to build a strong network of relationships with existing and target clients
  • Work in partnership with the Advisory team to review pipeline talent provided by the recruiters for upcoming projects, staff augmentation and consulting engagements
  • Leverage IFG's database to accurately report on sales and account management activity as well as assist in the continual development of the firm's database usage
  • Assist Leadership with the development of new and improved strategies and programs to impact IFG's advancement and expansion in the marketplace.

  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in staffing / recruiting or 10+ years of relevant Accounting and Finance experience with a strong network and interest in business development 
  • Ability to break into client companies and navigate the Master Service Agreement process through HR, Procurement, and Management.
  • Demonstrated experience growing clients' revenue annually and continuously
  • Understand the sense of urgency while working in a results-oriented environment
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
