Our client is a globally well known brand name in Banking & Asset Management.  Due to some big changes, they are looking to hire an Interim Manager Financial Control and Reporting.  The initial contract term is 6 months to start with a strong possibility of either extending longer and/or converting full-time.  If you are a CPA looking for your next contract opportunity, than we want to hear from you!

As the Interim Manager Financial Control and Reporting, you will help our client out in a hands on execution oriented manner [Manager in title, no staff to manage].  You will review various transactions/etc. and analyze the accounting treatment, prepare memo's supporting position, ensure adequate controls in place, making sure journal entries and reconciliations are booked and completed timely, etc.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 
  • CPA [strong preference for Big 6 experience + industry experience working for Financials or Asset Managers]
  • Solid technical IFRS and operational accounting skills and experience
  • Desire to do the hands on work as you will not have staff to supervise
