Our client is a public Real Estate Investment Trust "REIT" and they are looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team.  There is a very strong possibility for this role to convert into a full-time role.  If you aspire for a role at the head office of a Canadian public company, than we want to hear from you!

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for 1] month end close and financial reporting; 2] operational reporting and analysis and 3] process improvement initiatives to create efficiencies.

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/requirements; 
  • CPA or equivalent with 5+ years hands on accounting experience, strong preference for Consolidation experience.
  • Systems savvy [Yardi, JDE, MSFT Dynamics, etc.]
  • Advanced expertise with MSFT Excel and Power Point
