Senior Finance Manager, Supply Chain


Reporting to the Director of Finance, the IBP Finance lead will be an integral component of the implementation, coordination and ongoing governance of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the North American Potato portfolio. The incumbent will partner with the leads of each of the IBP steps (Portfolio Review, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation and the Management Business Review) and ensure the reviews are effective in providing a financial outlook for the business to make critical and necessary decisions. The role will come with a Finance lens, ensuring the IBP process is in line with the financial outlook of the organization but should provide a holistic and unbiased counsel to the Senior Leadership team as it relates to any financial statements. The candidate must think with an enterprise lens and provide end-to-end partnership across the business.



  • Understands and is familiar with Supply Chain (preferably in the food industry), including the strategic levers that impact business success (volume, revenue, profit and margin)
  • Able to turn complex issues into simple and clear decisions that need to be made by the Senior Leadership Team
  • Responsible for ensuring all opportunities and risks identified throughout the IBP process are reviewed cross functionally and either resolved or escalated with recommendations
  • Partners with all IBP business functions while developing the right processes to continuously optimize the IBP procedure in order to meet key business objectives
  • Must be able to connect conversations from each step of the IBP process to the next and be the centralized source when connections between steps are missing
  • Feed one source of the truth into the Integrated Reconciliation Review (IRR) step, including a holistic view of the IBP process monthly with gap closing suggestions, recommendations and key risks to the business
  • Responsible for communicating all financial implications made in MBR back to each respective step owner
  • Accountable for creating a financial forecast based on the projected fulfilled demand and capturing any risks or opportunities related to network moves 



  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting 
  • Experience leading or taking part in an IBP process
  • Project Management or Lean Six Sigma experience an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge working with multiple stakeholders while driving one common goal
