Salary Mid-Point: $78,500

Our client, a growing company located in Etobicoke requires a Senior Accountant to help with year end. This role is scheduled to go 6 months, however given the future growth opportunities here, there might be a chance at converting to a full-time job. Reporting to the Controller, this role will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Month end close process including reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Mentoring a junior accountant
  • Supporting audit process

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

  • CPA designation
  • At least 5years’ experience preparing financial statements 
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivots, lookups)

***This is a fully remote role right now. Once the office reopens, it will be a hybrid model
