IFG's client, in the financial services/trading industry, is seeking a recent grad who is interested in the financial services industry involving crypto currency and trading. They are ideally looking for someone with a good personality, quick and adaptable, have a business understanding and and thrives in a small team,  fast paced and hectic environment. Need to be proficient in excel (macros level not needed), 
After on-site training, the role will be 50% on-site and 50% remote. 
Vaccinations are required.

Jr. Financial Analyst

Job Description


  • Processing of deposits and withdrawals from customer accounts
  • Review of cash reconciliations and processing journal entries related to cash movements and payments
  • Daily reconciliations of cash books, debit card deposits and withdrawals, chargebacks, and connection errors
  • Preparation of daily Segregation Statement
  • Manage Treasury inbox and salesforce relating to member specific inquiries
  • Assistance with preparing KPIs, daily and monthly reporting and analysis of member balances and trading
  • Completion of project work such as automation of daily/monthly processes to improve efficiency
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analysis
  • Assistance with various administrative tasks as needed



  • Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaids, property, and intercompany accounts
  • Work directly with US Accountant and Senior Financial Analyst on daily and monthly processing
  • Support Finance team with ad hoc work surrounding transition to
  • Assistance with various administrative tasks as needed


Accounts Payable

  • Manage Accounts Payable including purchase order creation, invoice review/submission, payment processing
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments to keep accounts current
  • Maintain supplier database keeping addresses, TINs and banking details current
  • Contribute toward development of processes in new Finance structure under
  • Performance of internal control procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of books and records



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with quality academic performance
  • 0-1 years in Finance experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Quick learner and motivated self-starter
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, regulated environment
  • Works well with others and is comfortable communicating with all levels
  • Ability to efficiently manage large amounts of data, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with FCMs, broker-dealers, or financial markets a plus
  • Interest in financial markets/crypto is a must
