Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a Technology Project Manager to fill a 12-month contract located in Barrie, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for a Technology Project Manager with a financial services background
As a Technology Project Manager your duties will include but not be limited to:
Managing large-scale, complicated projects that frequently involve several internal and external stakeholders as well as matrix partners.
Defining, planning, organizing, and executing all business, operational, and IT deliverables for assigned strategic projects.
Managing all aspects of the project lifecycle and collaborating with matrix business, corporate, and IT partners to oversee all phases of the project and ensure that related project processes (such as change management, process management, transition to business/operations, system development, quality management, and so on) are completed as required.
Qualifications required for the Technology Project Manager position include:
- Minimum 10 years work experience in technology, web/application project management
- Strong understanding of the waterfall lifecycle phases and categories
