Title:  HR Program Manager

Contract: Initially to June 30 2022 with strong potential for extension for total duration of 18 months

IFG is on the search for an HR Program Manager. This role will be working with a world leading organization in information technologies specifically supporting the Research of artificial intelligence (AI) in its Montreal hub. The team is subject matter experts in various AI disciplines and work in collaboration with the surrounding academic community to advance the reach of AI.


Description of role

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to facilitate the execution of our Intern program and Full Time Employee hiring. You will be accountable for the end-to-end process and its continuous improvement. The person will need to interact with numerous functions within the organization and is key in creating a positive experience for our Interns and new employees.



  • Owner of the end to end process including the planning, monitoring and delivery for our Intern programs in partnership with our shared service teams
  • Creation and maintenance of program resources/ documentation that support with knowledge retention, program execution with the mindset of driving improvements.
  • Assign tasks and provide coaching and training to ensure stakeholders clearly understand their role and responsibility
  • Be the program subject matter expert and point-of-contact for all stakeholders regarding the Intern program and the onboarding of new employees.
  • Anticipates, pro-actively prevents, and solves issues related to Intern Program
  • Liaise with our USA counterpart to align on recruiting and strategies, benefits, compute resources, trainings & tutorials, event, documentation & material, etc.
  • Owns the  the KPIs dashboard to provide key stakeholders with visibility of program progress throughout key milestones
  • Prepare and interpret corporate information, schedules and action plans
  • Keeps up to date with the processes, tools and procedures
  • Coordinates joiners and leavers to the team
  • Provide ideas and support with the execution of activities and experiences that will enhance the Intern program impact

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills



  • 10+ years of proven experience in a program management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Project management or Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Experience in identifying and implementing areas of improvement
  • Experience in project / program management
  • Experience working within a large organization that operates under a shared service model
  • Experience of working within or partnering with Business support functions such as Human Resources
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Work Excel, Powerpoint, MSForm
  • Knowledge of immigration visa and work permit process is an asset
  • Experience with the Success Factor platform an asset
