We are actively recruiting a Chief Financial Officer responsible for directing the strategic financial and operation plan.   In this role you lead all finance and accounting functions to include Controllership, Treasury, Compliance, Pricing, Financial Projections, and Risk Management for both domestic and international operations.  Prior senior leadership experience is required with a responsibility of over $400M in revenues.  Relocation is available for the role but preference will be given to someone with ties to the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region. 

Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer

  • Oversees the planning, preparation, analysis, and communication of the operating results.
  • Ensures that the company understands its performance against budget and prior year's performance.
  • Responsible for the timely submission of all internal and external financial reports.
  • Develops, maintains, and updates all business-critical reports and analyses.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining optimal capital structure to include bank debt and equity, that meets the expected leverage profile.
  • Negotiates credit facilities with banks, sets supplier and customer payment terms and credit limits, designs and maintains foreign currency hedging programs, and implements supply chain finance programs.
  • Ensures that all assets are adequately protected and insured against all foreseen and unforeseen risks.
  • Actively participates in the selection of property, liability, and workers compensation brokers and insurers for domestic and foreign subsidiaries and acts to minimize company’s exposure.
  • Minimizes exposure to foreign currency risks.
  • Facilitates and participates in management decisions to meet strategic goals and fulfill the company’s mission.
  • Oversees the pricing function.
  • Serves as a member of the external Audit Committee and ultimately responsible for the integrity and auditors’ opinion of the financial statements.
  • Assist internal Finance department and external Tax partners on timely filing and preparation of all company and shareholder tax returns as needed.

Requirements of the Chief Financial Officer

  • MBA
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Fifteen years of progressive and successful experience in corporate finance and managerial accounting for large, multinational organization with Revenues in excess of $400M
