Manager, Internal Controls and Financial Risk Management
Responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's financial risks. Develops Financial risk practices, and policies to analyze and report financial risks. Works to reduce/eliminate financial risk with process improvements. Assists in the creation and evolution of the financial internal controls’ framework. Also, responsible for managing all financial internal and external audits.

  • Leads the Financial Risk Management for the company
  • Establish and ensure the organization's financial management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, controls and strategic imperatives of the organization.
  • Leads efforts to analyze, quantify, and communicate financial risks to leadership
  • Works with functions across the company to understand financial risks within processes, and works to reduce and/or eliminate the risks with process improvements
  • Communicates information regarding financial risks with functions across the organization as well as a be a key resource for the company to identify and monitor new financial risks
  • Create and maintain appropriate financial risk measurement tools including an annual risk survey and periodic reviews of processes and controls
  • Train and educate the organization on Financial Internal Controls
  • Manage Financial Internal and External Audits
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent undergraduate degree relating to the Accounting and Finance field
  • 5 to 8 years of progressive financial audit and internal controls related experience in either public accounting (preferably big four) or a small to medium size public company
  • Recent SOX experience, a plus
  • CPA or CIA designation desired
  • Distribution industry experience and/or a strong understanding of supply chain preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, PCAOB Auditing Standards
  • Must be a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” self-starter with a desire to work in a collaborative, growing, and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail
