We are actively recruiting a Manager of Accounts Receivable responsible for overseeing all collections and cash application activities.  This role will be responsible for managing a team of 4-6 people ensuring all accounts receivable related functions adhere to company metrics and are completed timely and accurate. 

Responsibilities of the Manager, Accounts Receivable

  • Oversees the preparation of cash by printing bank reports daily and reconciles accounts receivable daily.
  • Performs and manages the cash application process.
  • Addresses system issues, provides process improvements and develops internal documentation.
  • Ensures credit memos for adjustments for shortages, price discrepancies and freight charges are prepared timely.
  • Communicates daily chargeback remittance advice to upper management with detail on the larger amounts
  • Analyzes various chargeback patterns and trends for the purpose of reducing and eliminating trends.
  • Reviews the Aging report daily and addresses issues with team.
  • Collaborates with the Credit team to communicate customer condition and risk.
  • Prepares monthly accounts receivable reports for our company leadership.

Requirements of the Manager, Accounts Receivable

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive accounts receivable experience
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Ability to oversee processes and adhere to a strong sense of confidentiality
