What this job involves:
Provide full scale accounting support for the Americas Regional Finance Controllership team including month end close, reconciliations, internal/external audit requests, and ad hoc projects.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Participate in month end close, including preparation of journal entries, maintenance of general ledger account and preparation of account reconciliations
  • Assist to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and consolidation processes
  • Responsible for ensuring all inter/intra segment mismatches are resolved
  • Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain SOX compliance which includes assisting in the preparation of quarterly and year-end audit requests and footnote disclosures for 10K/10Q filings
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2 - 4 years accounting experience required; real estate a plus
  • Big Four accounting experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency with a strong understanding of Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and proficient time management, ability to multi-task and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
